About us
The UWA Women In Surgery is a student-led, non-for-profit organization that aims to empower fellow female medical students to explore surgery as a career option and to inspire and enable them to do so. The annual WIS symposium serves as a platform for like-minded medical students interested in surgery to connect and network with professionals and experts across various surgical specialties.
